Storage

Unopened Lantus cartridges should be stored in their original packaging in a refrigerator at 36-46°F (2-8°C). Do not freeze Lantus and do not use it if it has been frozen.

When you have inserted a cartridge into an injection pen, store it at room temperature up to 86°F (30°C) and throw it away after 28 days. Do not expose Lantus to direct heat and keep it away from light.

Keep out of reach of children and do not use it after the expiration date.

Instruction

Lantus cartridges are designed for use with an insulin pen. Use the Lantus cartridges as prescribed and follow the instructions given by your healthcare provider. Your healthcare provider will determine the appropriate dose and schedule based on your individual needs and medical history.

Do not change your dosage and take more than what is prescribed, or stop using Lantus without consulting your doctor. Lantus can be used at any time of the day, but must be used at the same time each day.
